With a focus on designing a modern kitchen to reevaluate what truly makes a kitchen functional, Electrolux Icon appliances and Interior Design Magazine held a competition with 110 thousand dollars on the line. Winner Marcello Zuffo's futuristic kitchen shown here in orange "featured movable components that can be reconfigured to adapt to the task at hand and incorporated a contemporary sculptural component contrary to a typically rectangular floor plan."
