It has been a while we’ve not been at the kitchen since we’re busy traveling around the town looking for what has been changed since we left this town. Changes have been made here and there, new buildings, new designs, and so we got back and see how awful was our kitchen comparing to the new designs found all over the place out there. We definitely needed something, and we needed a kitchen model. One that isn’t needed to change the whole kitchen interior and one that will work well in an art studio or loft with a sense of rustic and ultra modern. So we found by accident this rustic kitchen by Alessi. It’s very contrast at the first time we saw, how the interior there is kind of old and the ceiling is pretty much shows like no one has been here for years. And still due to the contrast it makes this kitchen interior design into a different level of coziness. The natural kitchen environment is a perfect blend with the nice ultra modern kitchen tops and kitchen appliances there. It’s a dramatic kitchen interior design and we certainly love this design as you don’t need to change the past but still what you need to update is the appliance.

Great and Cool Tea Sub for Serving Traditional Tea

What is the most second consumed beverage behind water? Tea is the answer and there’s something special about this brewed beverage. Tea basically comes from one species of plant called camellia sinensis. The leaf are dried and processed to become tea. In advance there’re two types of tea, that’s the herbal tea and the original tea. Herbal tea is dried leaves or flowers from various other plants and herbs while the real tea is that of camellia sinensi. Tea served in traditional way tasted well but the method it’s not practical and too complicated for some people and that was then. Now, serving tea traditional way will be much practical with this tea Sub. This kitchen appliance might be simple and small but for serving tea the submarine will provide a huge boost. The Tea Sub is made of silicone and designed by Ototo will submerges tea leaves to the bottom of your cup and create a perfect infusion both for herbal tea, or other types of tea. I want to have my Tea Sub this morning for sure.

Keeping Your Kitchen Clean and Healthy Tips & Ideas!

If you want to live healthily then you must start from the kitchen. Seeing a dirty kitchen is so unpleasant and can bring bacteria and germs which can cause diseases. 6. Clean your fridge container. Clean your fridge container located at the back of your fridge every twice a year at the least. This is needed prevent mould or fungus at that container.

New Ora-Ito White Kitchen Appliances from Gorenje

Ora-Ito black kitchen appliances collection from Gorenje was released two years ago. That was a starting point for Gorenje to become as they claim: “One of Europe’s leading manufacturers of domestic appliances”. Although their products isn’t as innovative as they claim they are definitely stylish ones and availability of all needed appliances at once make them really interesting. Collaborate with young French Designer Ora-Ïto was the great Gorenje’s move.

After two years they come up with redesign of the great collection. New Ora-Ito collection come in white color now. If black kitchen appliances considered modern ones nowadays, white appliances are even above that. They’ve just became a new trend. Ora-Ïto characterizes his recognizable style as simplexity; combining simplicity and complexity. As result he gets futuristic and provocative product.

All appliances from the collection made from white glass with aluminum handles. All of them have clean, minimalistic design where everything has a purpose. Distinctive design details cleverly and subtly combine the fridge freezer with the oven, hob, hood and decorative panels. Soft and clean lines with sharp-soft form are tomorrow’s classic.

Smart Kitchen Cupboard From the Future

Nowadays, kitchens could have so many different appliances that not all of them are capable to accommodate all them. They also sometimes become a place for family meetings. Although many people have small kitchens so designers started to think about future concepts to solve the problem. This year 3 Chinese designers create a great concept which definitely do the work. The concept is just for one part of kitchen – cupboard.

Smart kitchen Cupboard

The designers names are: Cheng He, Liu Guang Kui and Zhou Dong. Here some info from their description of smart kitchen cupboard:

• Cupboard consist of three main work areas: washing, cooking and mixing.
• Cupboard adopts double-deck rotators structure that can rotate can rotate it for 180°.
• Flume has two kinds of outlets: the parallel water outlets of induction type lie on both sides of flume and the holding type faucets with metal hose lie in the middle of two flumes, that can be suitable for operating under various environments.
• Abandon the board type, slide rail and hinge of the traditional cupboard completely. This cupboard regards the structure frame of aluminum alloy and the combination of stainless steel pipe as the integer structure. Adopt level bearing, hydraulic pressure system, shutting system to realize lifting of cupboard and wall cupboard.
• Integrative structures with operational table-board, flume and kitchen, cupboard distribute icebox, disinfector and oven symmetrically, other borders are closets.
• Lower cupboard is drawing structure, can pull out wholly while using, and make the operation simplify. Hang the kitchen ventilator under the top cupboard with function of illumination.

Futuristic Kitchen Assistant

Sook is one of a new concept winners of Electrolux Design Lab 2008 competition. It’s designed by Adam Brodowski. The device is an interactive wireless cookbook. Although it isn’t that simple. It not only shows and shares different recipes it also connect you to different social network services like Facebook. Sook uses a series of sensors to sense what food is kept nearby or on its cutting board. Apart from measuring weight and moisture, it also includes an electronic tongue that tastes and examines food so that all the ingredients can be mixed in a better way.

The concept is pretty futuristic thanks to functions like electronic tongue. With such function you will be able to cook your favorite restoration dish at home, you just need to give it to sook to try. I can’t imagine how long will it take to develop something like that but even without this function it will be great addition to every foodie’s kitchen.
